What it is

Knotted rawhide bones wrapped with a band of meat are a staple of the dog chew category. The knot at each end gives the dog something to work on, and the meat band raises palatability and shelf appeal.

We produce the 4.5-inch size in beef and salmon versions, plus smaller knot bones for small breeds. We also make pressed bones, braided rawhide and two-colour twisted knots on the same line.

How we produce it

Rawhide preparation, knotting, wrapping and drying all take place in our chews workshop. The workshop is covered by our BRCGS Issue 9 certificate (Grade B+), IFS Food Version 8 and ISO 22000:2018 — and dog chews are named explicitly in our ISO 22000 scope. Every finished batch passes metal detection.

Specification and customisation

Bone size, piece weight, the meat used for the wrap and the finished moisture are all set per order. Rawhide colour and the appearance of the meat band can be adjusted to match an existing product you already sell.

Ordering

Minimum order quantity is 300 kg per item. Samples are free with freight collect. Production completes within 45 days after artwork confirmation, and payment is by T/T.
